Vincenzo Iozzi, owner and founder of Timbacraft Furniture began as an apprentice carpenter in 1977. He realised his love for working with timber from an early age, with his passion for woodwork showing in school, with woodwork classes being his favourite.
During the early years of Vincenzo’s career, he started to notice a change in the industry with more use of flat panel products, as these materials sped up the manufacturing process minimising construction time. When less and less solid timber was being used within the industry, Vincenzo started to notice the love and joy he had for the work he did, start to diminish; “I left the industry to try and find a passion for work in other fields, but to no avail.”
After having left the industry he loved so much to find work in other fields and start a new career, he was left still wanting more. After realising and weighing up all of his options, Vince finally decided to start up his own business as a furniture manufacturer to produce and deliver a quality product unlike any other.
Throughout the 25 years of Timbacraft trading, Vincenzo and his team have continued to perfect their dying talents in the trade, while growing the custom manufacturing side of the business and promoting the old traditional skills of furniture making and its construction methods.
Library Wall Unit
We enjoyed working with Timbacraft, a family firm who believe in using traditional furniture-making crafts, to produce our new library bookcase. Their obvious passion for wood, high-quality materials and workmanship have given us a stunning addition to our home and made the library a special room with a considerable “wow” factor. We were involved at every stage of the process from initial concept, through detail design and selection of materials to completion of the project. We really liked being able to see the project through every stage of manufacture (even the selection and pressing of the veneers) and watch it all come together, stage-by-stage, in their workshop.
Olive ash board room table
Based on a recommendation from one of our clients, we engaged Vince to design our new office reception, boardroom and kitchen area. From the very outset, Vince advised us on every intricate detail i.e. from the design and layout, to the quality of the wood. Nothing was too hard for Vince. We found Vince to be very creative and a thorough professional in carpentry. His attention to detail was astonishing. He completed the whole project on time and within budget. Our office now looks amazing and we receive a lot of compliments from our clients who come to visit us. We would have no hesitations in recommending Vince and his team at Timbacraft for their work and services.
